Threat Hunting Specialist

At Optimiza, we're excited to invite a passionate and skilled Threat Hunting Specialist to join our cybersecurity team! If you have a knack for investigating potential security threats and enjoy the thrill of outsmarting cybercriminals, this role is for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Proactively hunt for and identify threats within our network and systems, using advanced techniques and tools.
• Analyze security incidents to understand attack vectors and improve our response tactics.
• Collaborate with other teams to escalate findings and work together on remediation strategies.
• Keep an eye on the latest cybersecurity trends and techniques to ensure our defenses are always one step ahead.
• Develop and maintain threat detection rules and intelligence sources to bolster our security posture.
• Document findings and present reports in a clear and friendly manner, ensuring everyone understands the risks and recommended actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat hunting, or incident response roles.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, security controls, and threat intelligence.
• Experience with threat hunting tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and log analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
