Associate Consultant

We are seeking an IAM Analyst to join our internal IAM team to support the business in all IAM related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IAM processes and tools, and be able to manage stakeholder expectations. It would be beneficial to have worked with or have an understanding of SailPoint, CyberArk or Okta. This person would work closely with our service providers to make sure they comply with our SLAs and would report directly to our IAM Manager.

• Support the IAM Manager and team for all IAM related matters.
• Analyse access requests and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of access control policies and procedures.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of user data.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of identity lifecycle management processes.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security controls related to IAM.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
• Assist with audits and compliance activities related to IAM.
• Provide support for IAM-related projects, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and testing.
• Assist with the development and documentation of project deliverables.
• Build IAM playbooks and documentation and work with business stakeholders to implement continuous improvements.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members, IT staff, and business stakeholders.
• Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactively identify and escalate potential issues.
• Assess current applications and architecture to ensure current implementations align with industry guidelines, best practices, and business approved standards. 

• Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience working in the IAM field and supporting services underneath.
• Understand Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions and support requirements aligned with these solutions.
• Knowledge of security concepts and technologies in the wider Identity and Access management space (Logical Access Controls, LDAP, RBAC, Authentication solutions, PKI concepts, etc.)
• Experience and knowledge in enabling IAM controls securing digital products/solutions in the Cloud (e.g. in AWS, Azure and Google).
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to adapt communication style to explain technical concepts to different people within an organisation whether advising stakeholders, directing teams, or sharing experiences.
• Experience of successfully working in a fast paced, customer service/regulated environments, delivering high quality information security services.
• Be calm in challenging situations, able to navigate through complex security problems to find the root cause and a balanced outcome.

It would be advantageous if you can demonstrate some, or all of the following:

• Any technical security certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, AWS, SAN GIAC, Azure, GCP).
• Professional presentation with strong people skills at all levels across the firm.
