Position Overview

The IT Specialist’s role is to support and maintain computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. They will be required to install and configure desktops on multiple domains across different classifications. The technician will be a part of a team, but will primarily be working independently, with daily interactions with fellow workers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and support IT hardware at a hardware, OS, and software application level. • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, and presentation equipment.• Create / update documentation of Standard Operation Procedures for the department.• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization's desktop computing environment. • Create / update hardware equipment inventories as necessary. • Support restricted areas with desktops in multiple domains. • Adapt and learn with the constant change of the environment. • Experience Installing and configuring Windows 10 desktops with Microsoft Office 2016 and O365 suite. • Installing and configuring printers and other peripherals. • Maintain Active Directory Users and Groups.

Qualifications

• TOP SECRET with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance required.• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field required.• Technical Master’s Degree preferred.• DoD 8570 Certification Preferred (Security+, CISSP, Etc.).• 8 years’ experience in a technical, engineering or technical instruction field.

Global Comp

$105,000- $130,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
