We are seeking an experienced Network Security Consultant to support our client in assessing and mitigating risks related to IPv6 security. The consultant will focus on risk verification, identification of new risks, and defining security standards, particularly for IPv6 implementation.

Location: Remote in EU
Start Date: June, 2025
Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)

Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify identified security risks assessed by the Infosec team.
Conduct qualitative assessments to ensure appropriate risk classification.
Verify the application of risk treatment and monitoring processes.
Assess business criticality and impact of identified risks.
Identify new security risks that have not yet been recognized.
Develop remediation and treatment plans for newly discovered risks.
Apply impact and probability assessments in accordance with client’s security standards.
Assist in defining global and technical security standards for IPv6 implementation.
Provide practical guidance on adapting security policies for IPv6.
Ensure alignment with industry best practices and client’s security requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Network Security Expertise: Strong understanding of network security principles and risk mitigation strategies.
Practical IPv6 Implementation Experience: Hands-on experience with IPv6 security implementation.
Risk Assessment Proficiency: Proven experience in assessing and classifying security risks.
Standards & Guidelines Development: Ability to propose and implement security standards and guidelines.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to work within EU business hours.
Expert-level proficiency in technology and security frameworks.
Excellent communication, prioritization, and organization
