Cyber Security Intern

Responsibilities

· Get hands on in the project/tasks performed by the SOC team (e.g. triage, first-level analysis and lower severity incidents)

· Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders

· Proactively seek opportunities for improvements, assist the creation of knowledge base articles and documentation

· Learn best practices, elevate knowledge by more experienced colleagues

· Assist with structuring and documenting security incidents and creating incident report drafts

· Support senior analysts with basic threat intelligence indicator gathering and rule tuning changes or automation tasks

· Participate in more severe security incidents under guidance and supervision (shadowing) of T1 and T2 analysts

· Participate in lessons learned activities

Requirements

· Ongoing studies in a Bachelors or Masters program related to the field

· Basic knowledge of cybersecurity events, threats and actors, including trends and risks

· Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

· Curiosity, desire to learn

· Fluency in English: Required for communication across our international locations

This position is an unpaid internship and an internship agreement with the educational institution is required.
