Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain network and security devices (Firewalls, IPS, switches, etc.)
- Administer cryptographic devices ensuring secure communication across systems
- Perform onsite network reconfigurations and infrastructure updates
- Monitor and troubleshoot IP communications services for optimal performance
- Draft and update technical network documentation and operational procedures
- Provide 2nd-line support for IP communication services
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document user and technical requirements
- Guide junior staff, providing technical leadership and mentorship
- Occasional travelling is mandatory
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- CONFIDENTIEL UE / EU CONFIDENTIAL security clearance
- Bachelor or Vocational Qualification plus minimum of 4 years of professional experience in network security
- 4 years of hands-on experience with network security technologies (Firewalls, IPS, VPN)
- 1 year of direct participation in wide area network (WAN) operations
- 3 years of hands-on experience configuring Cisco firewalls and switches
- Demonstrated experience with DMVPN deployment and operation
- Good understanding of TCP/IP network protocols
- Certification equivalent to Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Proven ability to work independently and guide junior staff
- Strong technical documentation skills (specifications, concept docs, user guides)
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Service-oriented attitude
- Language proficiency: minimum B2/C1 level
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Strong initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable Requirements
- Hands-on experience in Linux systems administration
- Knowledge of routing and switching technologies
- Knowledge of IP security and VPN solutions
- Good understanding of cryptographic technologies and certificate-based authentication
- Familiarity with voice and video traffic transmission and Quality of Service (QoS) in IP networks
