AT&T is hiring to support a US Government Program that provides IT Services to US Strategic Command located in Omaha Nebraska.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Cybersecurity Operations: Leading and managing cybersecurity operations to monitor, detect, respond to, and mitigate cyber threats and incidents.
- Incident Response: Coordinating and executing incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
- Threat Analysis: Conducting threat intelligence analysis to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to the organization’s IT infrastructure.
- Security Monitoring: Overseeing the use of security information and event management (SIEM) systems and other monitoring tools to ensure continuous surveillance of network and system activities.
- Policy Development: Developing and enforcing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Training and Awareness: Conducting cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees to promote best practices and reduce the risk of cyber incidents.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with other IT teams, departments, and external agencies to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture.
- Reporting: Preparing and presenting detailed reports on cybersecurity activities, incidents, and trends to senior management.

Required Qualifications:
- Cybersecurity Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and antivirus solutions.
- SIEM Tools: Proficiency in using SIEM tools for real-time analysis of security alerts generated by network hardware and applications.
- Network Security: Understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security measures to protect data and systems.
- Incident Handling: Strong skills in incident handling and forensics, with the ability to effectively manage and resolve security incidents.
- Senior-Level Experience: Extensive experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cyber operations, threat analysis, and incident response.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) would be beneficial.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead a team of cybersecurity professionals and coordinate operations within the CYOC.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex cybersecurity challenges.

- Familiarity with US STRATCOM Network & IT Operations
- Familiarity with US Air Force Network & IT Operations
