About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Junior First Response Engineer to join us. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Implement changes to network configurations following approved procedures
• Ensure LAN/WAN availability and optimal performanceCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to maintain network security posture
• Maintain and update network diagrams, documentation, and asset inventories
• Perform analysis of IT systems to identify performance bottlenecks or reliability issues
• Document system behaviors, updates, and incident resolution steps
• Provide technical recommendations for system improvements
• Support integration and interoperability of platforms and services
• Adhere to DHS and CBP security policies and procedures
• Participate in team meetings and briefings to ensure situational awareness
• Systems analysis and troubleshooting skills, Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational readiness

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

• BS 0-2 Years or HS 6-8

 Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

• CompTIA A+ or Network+

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and a Public Trust clearance

Min Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen
