I2X Technologies is seeking a Network Team Lead to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.
- Coordinate planning, organization, and execution of engineering activities for development of assigned technical capabilities integrated into the Network Enterprise
- The candidate will work within an agile team and plan work based on customer requirements and program contractual agreements.
- Candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and presenting KPIs and other metrics related to the Network Enterprise.

- May function in project leadership roles and represents the organization as prime customer contact on significant technical matters on contracts.
- This position is accountable for the overall engineering technical, cost and schedule performance of the capability.
- The candidate is expected to maintain clear and open communication with program and engineering management regarding status, Earned Value Management (EVM), staffing needs, program risks, and other relevant program and engineering metrics.
- The candidate will drive the use of best practices within the engineering team using Agile processes, tools and frameworks and will review capability artifacts and development practices for compliance with engineering principles, company and program standards, customer contract requirements,
- and related specifications.
- Works with Development Engineers and Release Train Engineers to develop schedule, technical and cost performance of the capability
- Provide input to standard metrics packages to be used for program execution status, technical improvement, and management/customer status updates
- Management of risk mitigation activities, schedule planning, and managing change requests associated with the capabilities
- Preparation and presentation of internal and external communications, including but not limited to In Process Reviews (IPRs), Integrated Engineering Technical Reviews (IETRs), and bi-weekly status meetings for program management and customer representatives
- Manage the lifecycle of negotiated and assigned ECP effort(s) added to the capability
- Coordinate and resolve multiple spiral and capability resource de-confliction across the Agile Release Train (ART)and with other program ARTs
- Lead planning activities to ensure priority and maturity is achieved
- Resolve schedule and technical issues
- Create and analyze what-if scenarios as needed
- Participation in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand ups, sprint planning, team backlog refinement, and retrospectives
- It is expected that this candidate will achieve long term goals as the responsible Capability Owner with limited oversight by program and engineering management.
Qualifications
- 7 years of professional experience with degree in STEM
- Compliant certification such as SEC+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.
- Top Secret clearance with SCI / SAP eligibility
- Must be able to travel to alternate work locations to execute job duties. (local)
- Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated network engineers as well as independently at times on large field projects.
- Proven project management experience as part of large DoD systems and capabilities under development
- Experience managing and reporting cost, schedule and technical development on a large program exhibiting the ability to coordinate planning, execution, integration and completion of projects within your area of assigned responsibility
- Experience in planning, conducting, and coordinating activities such as documentation development, technical exchange meetings with stakeholders, test events, and capability deployments
- Support program management of strategic technical projects, problem-solving, and ensure effective operation of the overall business rhythm
- Experience with Agile methodology or Agile Product Owner certification, Digital Transformation, and DevOps implementation
- Experience managing the design, development and implementation of complex systems
- Ability to analyze project, program and portfolio information needs, as well as determining the resources needed to achieve objectives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Team Lead and/or Product Owner experience
- Developing KPIs and tracking other metrics and creating reports
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Strong Interpersonal, Presentation, Communication, and Facilitation Skills
- Learning Agility in picking up business processes specific to Business Process Management & Earned Value Management
- Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
- Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
- Customer focused - Proactively builds and aligns stakeholders, capabilities, and resources for getting things done quickly and achieving objectives
