Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the development and implementation of a robust cybersecurity strategy. The role is critical in safeguarding digital assets, managing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening the organisation’s overall security posture. The CISO will be supported by a part-time cybersecurity officer responsible for documentation and reporting.

This position is Onsite - 5 days at the Office in Porto.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Identify potential security risks and implement appropriate mitigation plans
  • Define SAP security parameters and ensure proper configuration and compliance
  • Establish and maintain a responsive, effective incident response plan
  • Lead initiatives to ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations and standards
  • Enhance network and infrastructure security across IT and OT (Operational Technology) environments
  • Provide strategic and hands-on leadership in industrial and automation security contexts
  • Promote security awareness and foster a proactive, security-conscious culture
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to advance organisational cybersecurity maturity


Requirements for the role 

  • Proven leadership in industrial security and cybersecurity strategy
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
  • Expertise in OT security and industrial environments
  • Hands-on knowledge of automation technologies and their security implications
  • Proficiency in SAP security configurations and best practices
  • Versatile and adaptive approach to complex security challenges
  • High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong curiosity and ability to drive people toward continuous improvement
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
