Enterprise Architect (DevSecOps)

We currently have a vacancy for an Enterprise Architect (DevSecOps) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Support DevSecOps and Containers’ implementation/ maintenance/ improvements/ evolution;
• Administer the organization’s platform (currently composed of Atlassian (Crowd, Jira, Confluence, etc..)/non Atlassian Tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, etc..);
• Plan, implement, maintain and upgrade secure DevSecOps pipelines;
• Facilitate the continuous delivery and automated testing of information systems, by using application lifecycle management and automation tools;
• Support Digital Shared Services and CD/CO implementation;
• Promote the usage of DevSecOps methodologies for the IT landscape;
• Contribute to the delivery and release processes for container based (Kubernetes, VMWare Tanzu,  etc..) and Cloud based pipelines (AWS, etc..);
• Support and advise development teams in onboarding DevSecOps practices around continuous deployment, automated testing and release pipelines;
• Support and advise development teams around the integration of various tools into the DevSecOps pipelines, such as Jenkins, JIRA, Git, Nexus, PKS, AWS EKS, etc.. ;
• Define, design, coordinate and review DevSecOps related architecture and procedural strategic documentation (including Security);
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with business stakeholders;
• Produce and/or review documents, follow-up document revision with an eye on project schedule and deadlines;
• Provide suggestions for service or methodology improvements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Experience in cloud migration strategies, including: the review and transformation of legacy systems to cloud-native solutions, leveraging cloud components from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud;
• Experience in DevSecOps methodologies, ensuring secure, automated, and high-quality cloud deployments through CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices;
• Experience in technical documentation and architecture blueprints, providing clear, structured documentation for cloud implementations, integrations, and security models;
• Excellent knowledge of cloud-based architectures and best practices in cloud computing, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for data analytics and processing;
• Good knowledge of microservices and cloud architecture, including containerized applications, API-driven development, and service orchestration;
• Good knowledge of applications design and enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with digital transformation strategy and cloud migration objectives;
• Good knowledge of business process analysis, with the ability to analyze, document, and optimize technical workflows supporting customs and taxation;
• Knowledge of interoperability technologies, including web services, message-oriented middleware, event-driven architecture, and API-based data integration to facilitate seamless data exchange between platforms;
• Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT or other IT organisational related frameworks, and knowledge of basic IT processes in particular Service Management and Operations;
• Knowledge of designing and implementing cloud-based analytics environments, ensuring project transformation initiatives;
• Knowledge of reviewing and optimizing existing cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with EU regulations, scalability requirements, and emerging cloud technologies;
• Following certifications would be an asset: Cloud, VMWare/Broadcom solutions, vSphere and Networking;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
