The role is project based and therefore conducted on a temporary contract starting as of the 01.06.2025.

Your mission & core responsibilities:
As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging our technical operations and product development teams. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our technology stack, implementing robust security measures, and driving performance optimization. Your expertise will ensure that our systems remain resilient, scalable, and aligned with our business goals.

1.Infrastructure Management & Software Architecture
  • Oversee our cloud infrastructure and software architecture. 
  • Ensure systems are up-to-date, secure, and optimized to support seamless business operations.
  • Lead efforts in infrastructure and architecture scaling and modernization to meet organizational needs.
2. Security and Risk Management
  • Conduct comprehensive security audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
  • Stay ahead of emerging security threats and best practices and proactively integrate awareness and knowledge into the organisation.
  • Develop and enforce policies that safeguard sensitive data and maintain compliance with regulations.
3. Performance Monitoring and Optimization
  • Continuously monitor system performance, tracking key efficiency metrics.
  • Analyze and optimize processes to prevent failures and minimize downtime.
  • Implement advanced monitoring tools to improve system visibility and response times.
4. Collaboration & Strategic Impact
  • Partner with product development teams to align infrastructure improvements with business objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure external solutions meet operational and security standards.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of IT operations by identifying opportunities for improvement.
Technical Skills
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure and system architecture.
  • Experience in design, implementation and improvement of existing Cloud Architectures.
  • Knowledge about modern security threats and best practices.
  • Strong background in database management and software lifecycle maintenance.
Soft Skills
  • Working proficiency in English.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in working with agile, cross functional teams.
  • Experience in mentoring less experienced colleagues.
  • Eager to learn.
Other specifics that would be a great asset for this role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT Security Operations.
  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies (our stack is: Node, TypeScript, Python).
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and related technologies (AWS or Google Cloud).
  • Proficient knowledge of container orchestration and modern pipeline technologies (e.g. Kubernetes or Docker Swarm).
  • Proficient knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools and automation frameworks (e.g. Terraform).
  • Good experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog).
