Position Description

The Mission Systems Group (MSG) is currently providing cybersecurity, engineering, and support staff for the Defensive Cyber Operations for Space (DCO-S) program office.
ENSCO, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cyber Architect to support our Mission Systems Group (MSG) by architecting, designing, and implementing advanced cybersecurity solutions. The Cyber Architect will guide technical cybersecurity strategies, assess system vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement cybersecurity architectures and frameworks

Conduct security assessments and provide mitigation strategies

Collaborate with engineering teams on secure system designs

Integrate advanced cybersecurity capabilities into existing mission systems

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cybersecurity teams
-
Occasional travel up to 15% to support customers
Qualifications Required (Skills)
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in a cybersecurity architecture role

Expert knowledge of cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and best practices
-
Proven experience with secure system design, threat modeling, and risk management

Familiarity with enterprise cybersecurity technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and encryption

Current IAM Level III certification (per DoD 8140)

An active TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE, for which you must be a U.S. Citizen. You will not be considered for this position if you do not meet this requirement

Excellent analytical, organizational, oral, written, and interpersonal skills
Qualifications Desired

Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline

Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure)

Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Knowledge of DevSecOps practices

Experience supporting DoD and Space Force cybersecurity initiatives
Required Certifications: IAT/IAM Level III Certification
U.S. Citizenship Required: Yes
Security Clearance Required: Top Secret
