Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services. Job Description
SUMMARY OF ROLE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Information Security Analyst is an analytical and detail-focused professional responsible for enhancing the organization's security posture by analysing data from various dashboards and reports. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of security-related data, contributing significantly to informed decision-making and improved security outcomes. The Analyst also provides support for Service Delivery and Process Management activities within the Security Integration, Engagement & Metrics team, and acts as a key backup to the Lead Consultant.
ROLE & OBJECTIVES:
Specific Assignments:
The main responsibilities are:
- Analyze security data across multiple dashboards and reporting tools to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of security data and metrics presented to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with RISO and ITISC leaders to communicate findings and provide actionable recommendations to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Support Service Delivery Management by reviewing processes, tracking KPIs, and ensuring adherence to established service levels and standards.
- Assist in maintaining robust process management practices by identifying gaps and recommending process enhancements.
- Act as the primary backup for the Lead Consultant, ensuring continuity of service and consistent stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute to future improvements in ticket quality, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes, by analyzing performance data and proposing targeted actions.
Other Assignments:
- Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders to enhance understanding and effective use of security dashboards and reporting.
- Support the organization in meetings related to security metrics, data reviews, and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist management with ad-hoc requests and day-to-day operational activities.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ITSM role (Change, Incident and Problem management) working with operational and level decision makers. Deep knowledge in IT Service Management tools.
Required
- 3+ years of experience in IT Service Management or a similar role, with hands-on responsibility for Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
- ITIL Foundation Certification is required; ITIL Intermediate or Expert Level certifications are preferred.
Personal profile
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, BMC Remedy, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and escalate issues as needed.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective resolutions.
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration in a global IT environment.
- Eager to learn and continuously develop personal and technical capabilities.
Education required:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Languages: fluent English.
