About the Role

Reporting to the Global Leader, Security Services, the Sr. Manager, Security Services will play a critical leadership role in guiding and overseeing the design, development, and implementation of robust cybersecurity architectures and programs across Veralto. In this role, you will lead a team of seven direct reports and collaborate closely with both internal and external cybersecurity partners. You will drive strategic planning, team development, and operational excellence through an agile methodology, while providing senior management with insights on cybersecurity vision and strategy. This is a fully remote position within the United States, with occasional international travel (up to 10%), typically once per year.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership and Tactical Direction: Provide operational and tactical guidance to diverse cross-functional teams (engineers, analysts, architects) and foster collaboration across the organization.

  • Strategic Alignment: Develop and implement cybersecurity architecture and engineering strategies, including a 3–5 year strategic roadmap aligned to business priorities.

  • Project Leadership: Lead cybersecurity initiatives focused on the design, deployment, and enhancement of secure systems, architectures, and tools.

  • Program Development: Create and manage cybersecurity programs and processes, including governance models and cybersecurity tool lifecycle management.

  • Standards Development: Establish security architecture guidelines that adhere to best practices (Zero Trust, Defense in Depth, Least Privilege).

  • Mentorship: Build and grow team capabilities, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.

  • Effective Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into business-relevant communication for leadership, vendors, and stakeholders.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience.​

  • Background in information security, 5 to 7 years of experience. ​

  • Minimum four 4 + years managing and leading diverse teams of engineers, analysts, and architects across global or multi-disciplinary environments.​

  • Proven experience with cybersecurity domains such as architecture, engineering, identity and access management, risk management, product security, and cloud security (Azure, AWS).​

  • Proficiency in design and implementing secure and compliant (e.g., NIST 800-53, ISO27001) to include cloud native and hybrid infrastructures, network security, identity governance, data protection, and endpoint security.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with tools such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, EDR, SIEM, IGA.

  • Professional certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP preferred.

  • Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities.

  • Customer-service orientation, proactive mindset, and collaborative work style.

  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 10%).

US ONLY

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $123,000 - $181,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
