Position Summary

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated Cyber Remediation Project Analyst to join Sopra Steria's Cybersecurity division (I2S), in our downtown Toronto office located in Financial District, reporting to the Manager of Prevent Product. The ideal candidate will have about 3 years of technical experience and a foundational understanding of project management. They'll apply their knowledge of a broad cybersecurity landscape (think IAM, SIEM, XDR, etc.) to effectively track and monitor activities.

Sopra Steria Infrastructure & Security Services (I2S) is a subsidiary of Sopra Steria dedicated to infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity activities. It plays a key role in Sopra Steria's end-to-end services. With 3,000 employees, Sopra Steria I2S stands out for the flexibility of its delivery model, combining client proximity from our 8 agencies with the advanced industrial capabilities of our offshore service centers.

Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with broad scope of cybersecurity products (e.g., IAM, SIAM, SIEM, XDR, MDR etc.)
  • Understand basic project management principles to track and monitor activities
  • Review and summarize coverage reports into dashboards for leadership
  • Communicate across multi-functional stakeholders both business and technical to achieve alignment, raise risks, and make decisions.
  • Manage project risks and issues and escalate as appropriate
  • Ensure project deliverables are of high quality and meet the agreed-upon standards
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Willingness to grow within a technical consulting environment and meet client requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • ~3+ years of relevant experience in Cybersecurity and/or IT
  • Knowledge of project management skills (e.g., tracking activities, scoping, workshop facilitation etc.)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are a plus
  • Previous work in a multicultural environment
  • English required / French is a plus
