Cyber Defence Operations Lead

Insight Investment is looking for a Cyber Defence Operations Lead to join the Cyber Security team in London. Working within the team as the Cyber Defence Operations Lead and acting as a subject matter expert, you will have significant expertise in detecting and responding to cyber attacks.

Role Responsibilities

• Leading and manage the daily operations of the cyber defence operations team, including training and mentoring
• Managing the day-to-day relationship with Insight’s MDR provider
• Managing Insight’s vulnerability management processes
• Ensuring adequate coverage and effective response to security events

Experience Required

• Demonstrable experience in a leadership role directly supervising staff
• Strong technical foundation in cyber security operations and incident response
• Strong experience in security incident management
• Strong understanding of emerging cyber security threats
• Experience in vulnerability management
• A broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment and across various stakeholders

Desirable

• Experience in complex environments
• Experience of developing a Cyber Threat Intelligence capability
• Relevant technical cyber security certifications are highly desirable
