The role and its impact on Verisure Technology

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee and coordinate IT projects and continuous demand around security information. As you probably know in today´s environment, companies demonstrate a heightened awarenesses and sensitivity toward all matters concerning information security. This position bridges the gap between security specialist and IT by ensuring effective communication and project alignment.  You’ll collaborate closely with the different Infosec areas,  as well as IT departments, to aim to enhance the resilience of our systems and strengthen our preparedness for any event that could compromise what we consider our most valuable asset: the information security of both our clients and our organization.

Job purpose

Main Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate the view of all on-going projects of the Infosec area
  • Take actions to anticipate, avoid and resolve deviations from project plan, ensuring project plan is available and coordinating if needed.
  • Work closely to infosec area, to understand the criticality of the issues/projects they raise, assess their potential impact and manage trade-offs.
  • Understand the current IT systems map and the IT organization to address any new demand and understand IT teams impacted
  • Manage the infosec roadmap for south technology platform.
  • Actively participate in monthly country board, preparing all support documentation.
  • Ensure proper communication flows between Infosec areas and IT, addressing all requests to the proper IT area
  • Keep tracking on the Infosec demand and its status.
  • Align the demand in between Infosec areas with the rest of the team. Arbitrate choices and conflicts within the projects.
  • Manage and track progress of allocated teams.
  • Financial follow-ups of the Infosec portfolio.
  • Manage the project's synchronization points, consistency between teams, resolving conflicts.
  • Manage the project risks (assessment and mitigation).
  • Review, report and forecast on project (e.g. budget evolution, budget usage, planning and content, process adherence, quality level, progress metrics).
  • Follow up non-conformities of IT deliverables.
  • Be part of Monthly Infosec committee where they review/analyse KPIs to ensure that the actions coming from this forum has been addressed
  • Due to the inherent nature of this area, many urgent topics can arrive and should be managed ensuring the trade-off needed to achieve the target.

Experiences & Qualifications (Must):

  • Bachelor’s degree (referred in STEM - Telecom, Computer, Industrial, Electronics, Automatics or similar).
  • +3 years of experience as Demand management or Project Manager in Technology environment
  • Excellent management of PowerPoint
  • Fluent level of English as you will work in an international environment and project (B2+ or higher)
  • Experience working with IT development teams in international environment
  • More than a year of experience in Project Portfolio Management within a project Management Office (PMO), ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and optimizing resource allocation across initiatives

Experiences & Qualifications (Nice to have):

  • Experience managing Information security projects
  • Candidate with expertise in information security
