This role is shift based
Shift based engineer providing 24x7x365 support for gateway, sensor, and DHCP technologies. Responsible for technical oversight and guidance of shift technicians managing security enforcing devices, support and resolution of complex faults, and liaising with Third Line for escalations.

Your role
Your role will involve provision of 24x7x365 support for gateway, sensor, and DHCP technologies. This includes providing technical oversight, guidance, and expertise for the shift’s technicians who are responsible for day-to-day management of the SOC’s security enforcing devices both in and outside normal working hours. This involves support and resolution of complex faults, liaising with the Third Line team for escalations and feedback, and covering the responsibilities of the shift’s technicians where required.
Your experience
- Experience of technical support in a service operations environment.
- Understanding of network concepts such as communication protocols and security technologies.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to develop positive working relationships with people and teams across the organisation to achieve business objectives.
