Professional Services Consulting, Staff Consultant: Assist with the delivery of code assessment services to customers interested in determining compliance to third-party licensing and security issues. Fully engage in training on Black Duck On Demands tools and processes. Develop a good understanding of the capabilities of the Black Duck Security applications, architecture, and development tools that properly and creatively use features to meet client needs. Liaise with team members with respect to assessments and other projects and activities both in the US and Black Ducks other offices, as required. Undertake individual projects defined by management. Liaise with members of the tools team where necessary. Undertake any other activities as are reasonably requested by management. Analyze project areas, refine problem descriptions, and develop novel technical solutions to improve tools or create new tools to automate tasks or improve reports. Requires travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. less than 25%. 40 hours per week.
Requirements:
Education and Experience: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Informatics, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering or a related field plus two (2) years of software development, testing and deployment experience.
Specific Skills: This position requires education and/or experience in: programming languages Python and Java; Linux and Windows operating systems and web service; open source licensing and terms; Black Duck Audits open source audit process; vulnerabilities reported in the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) and the classifications.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between Salary: $123,000 to $143,000 per year. In addition, this role is eligible for bonus. Black Duck offers a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
