Professional Services Consulting, Security Consultant: Perform assessments of software applications/source code and recommend software security and/or information security controls, defenses and countermeasures to protect computer systems and information from internal/external threats. Analyze and recommend responses to system breaches, viruses, and/or malware. Provide information to client management regarding the negative impact caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information and systems. Expected to analyze project areas, refine problem descriptions, and develop novel technical solutions. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Informatics, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in web application security and security for networks.

Specific Skills: This position also requires education or experience in conducting threat modelling and vulnerability assessment; software and system vulnerability assessment; network penetration testing for internal and external networks; Linux; Cryptograph; and Cybersecurity.

Pay Range and Benefits Information:  The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between Salary: $117,720 to $137,720 per year.  In addition, this role is eligible for bonus. Black Duck offers a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
