Technical Director, Security and Compliance (iV)

City Experiences is seeking a Technical Director, Security and Compliance (iV) for our Technology UNIT operation in CITY.

About the Opportunity:

Cybersecurity at Hornblower is responsible for protecting the business. We do so by establishing, maintaining and enforcing policies to meet and exceed industry standards for security and compliance.

The Technical Director for Security and Compliance will be responsible for working as part of the Cybersecurity team on establishing policies, establishing, measuring and maintaining compliance with standards such as PCI, SOC, NIST, ISO and others as necessary.

Serving as an expert and liaison between Cybersecurity and the businesses, the Technical Director will help implement and enforce all compliance measures to ensure that we address and minimize risk.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Be an individual contributor/leader for Cybersecurity and Compliance
• Help develop and implement the company’s policies
• Participate in investigations into security and compliance issues
• Participate and lead in implementation of policies and compliance programs
• Drive standards and methodologies that reduce risk
• Support others, helping them break through tough issues and improve their skills
• Document through direct participation and leadership throughout the org
• Establish and create standards, processes, and methodologies across technology areas

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Ability to discern and prioritize issues in both business and technical context
• Top verbal and written communications skills, top analytic skills
• Proven proficiency in security and compliance, including prior success in passing audits
• Wide familiarity with security
• Mentoring and leadership capabilities – leadership through influence
• Technical understanding of secure infrastructure and security tools
• Technical degree or equivalent work experience required
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems is required
• Ability to openly self-evaluate and identify ability or inability to complete an assignment without help
• Willingness to learn and take on stretch assignments (with help and support)
• Must be able to mentor others
• Must be able to gain respect and confidence across the company
