Job Description

Visa is seeking a seasoned Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Visa Payment Ecosystem Risk and Controls (PERC) team. This individual will be responsible for responsible for leveraging in-depth knowledge of the payments ecosystem to identify and address security concerns to build out risk programs. The position requires a highly analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented professional with experience in GenAI, payment systems, fraud investigations, and mitigation. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with various teams to gather information, share insights, and develop comprehensive solutions to complex problems, driving projects to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of the payments industry and process to identify potential attack vectors and network security for CAVV, credit card tokenization, and emerging payment systems.
  • Collect and document payment security roadmaps and effectiveness.
  • Maintain and track communications and identify any potential security risks or vulnerabilities on new payment system services.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes and templates to efficiently condense and present complex information to executive management.
  • Navigate and understand complex data flows across multiple teams, to identify potential knowledge-sharing gaps.
  • Utilize GenAI to optimize our internal investigation processes. This includes leading the effort of creating SOPs and runbooks to train the GenAI.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on various fraud issues and produce fraud mitigation strategies to include vulnerability assessments.
  • Work independently and proactively to identify value-added improvements to the service and efficiencies to internal processes and procedures.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
•Bachelor's degree Computer Science, cybersecurity or a related field.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, fraud investigations, or intelligence preferably within the financial services industry.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in payment systems.
•Knowledge of upcoming changes and trends in the payments space.
•Strong experience with AI and generative AI technologies.
•Splunk, SQL, python scripting.
•Highly independent and proactive, able to drive projects.
•Excellent time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
