Role Overview
KPMG Australia's Endpoint Management Team is seeking a skilled Senior Endpoint Engineer to support and enhance our Windows, Mac, Audio Visual, and Mobility Solutions across Australia, Fiji, and PNG. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing, securing, and optimising endpoint devices through Microsoft Intune, Azure DevOps, and enterprise device management best practises. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, architecture, security, applications, and service support teams to ensure seamless endpoint management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Endpoint Management & Support
- Action 2nd-level support tickets related to Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.
- Provide technical expertise to support and enable the Tech Service Support team.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and security teams to meet security and compliance requirements.
- Train support staff and peers.
- Stay updated on all new Intune features and developments prior to release.
Application Packaging & WDAC Policies
- Package and deploy applications across managed platforms via Microsoft Intune.
- Develop, test, and implement Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) rules for Windows applications.
- Ensure compliance with firm-wide security and endpoint management policies.
Microsoft Intune & MDM Management
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Intune for device management across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
- Deploy, configure, and enforce security policies within Intune to ensure compliance.
- Implement new solutions, updates, and features to optimise endpoint management.
Automation & Scripting
- Utilise PowerShell scripting to automate endpoint management tasks.
- Contribute to process improvements by developing efficient automation solutions.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Share knowledge and best practises with technical and support staff.
- Maintain clear documentation on endpoint management solutions, policies, and procedures.
- Work closely with architecture, security, applications, and service support teams to implement new technologies and initiatives.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience within Microsoft Intune environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android device management.
- Experience with Azure DevOps – essential.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and endpoint management.
- Experience in implementing and managing endpoint security measures, including antivirus solutions, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks related to endpoint management.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement effective resolutions in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities effectively, and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are advantageous.
