We are looking for a talented Information Security Analyst with experience in keeping a close watch on all company systems, looking for suspicious behaviour and taking immediate action when required. The selected candidate will also be entrusted with ensuring infosec compliance, managing internal policies, assisting in internal/external security audits, and promoting security governance across the organisation.

You will be reporting directly to the Director of Information Security, and working with the latest cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Workspace, Wazuh, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Kafka, and several others. You will have the opportunity to devise and implement your own monitoring mechanisms and tools, allowing you to maximise your productivity and job satisfaction.

The Information Security Team handles all requests for product/system security reviews, and devises relevant policies for the organisation. It schedules external penetration testing exercises, and executes internal ones when needed. Last but not least, it keeps a continuous watch on the security status of company systems.

We are always on the lookout for ways to improve the company’s security posture while keeping a close eye on the day to day running of systems. We respond to security incidents as required and investigate and report any breaches as necessary.


Location: Ideally based in Malta, but open to the right candidate being based in the UK, Spain or Poland. Remote working from these locations is possible.

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing, updating, and enforcing internal Information Security Policies.
  • Assisting in external audits, and performing internal ones.
  • Promoting Information Security Governance, ensuring that policies are adhered to and timely, appropriate action is taken where needed.
  • Collecting logs from various systems and storing them in the appropriate secure locations, analysing them and identifying issues requiring further investigation.
  • Performing first level support and incident response as required.
  • Designing and implementing SOC Tools such as IDPS systems, SIEM systems, etc. This includes both COTS as well as internally developed/hosted tools.
  • Performing Internal Penetration Testing, and organising external testing.
  • Performing Information Security Reviews for suppliers, collaborators, business partners, etc.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance in Information Security matters.


What you’ll bring to the role:

  • M.Sc. Qualification in ICT, Cybersecurity, or Information Security; or 5+ years of Information Security work experience; or 10+ years of ICT work experience.
  • Knowledge of ISO27001:2022 and related standards.
  • Have a thorough understanding of threat landscapes and be able to identify potential attacks or breaches from logging data.
  • Experience in day to day SOC activities.
  • Experience using IDPS Systems.
  • Experience using SIEM Systems.
  • Experience in cybersecurity incident response.
  • Good troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent report writing skills in English.
  • CISSP, CEH or similar qualifications will be beneficial.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Experience (AWS preferred) will be highly beneficial.
  • Software Development capabilities (Java / C# / C++) will be beneficial.
