Healthcare Cybersecurity Consultant/Architect

As RSB, we are currently supporting one of our clients – a global leader in eye care – in the search for a Senior Healthcare Cybersecurity Consultant/Architect. The company specializes in innovative solutions for vision correction and surgical treatment, with operations in over 140 countries.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to projects at the intersection of cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and medical technology, making a real difference in people’s lives.

Your responsibilities will include:
🔐 Designing, implementing, and governing cybersecurity architectures for healthcare software, cloud platforms, medical devices, and IoMT solutions
🛡 Supporting security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis to proactively mitigate vulnerabilities
🤝 Collaborating with engineering teams to integrate security into system and software development lifecycles
📚 Training delivery teams on security best practices, testing requirements, and regulatory compliance (pre & post market)
📑 Supporting the definition of cybersecurity standards and frameworks across the organization
🌐 Participating in industry groups to stay ahead of evolving threats and trends
✅ Ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443, UL 2900-2-1, and more

What we’re looking for:
✔ Proven experience in cybersecurity for the medical device industry
✔ Strong knowledge of healthcare cybersecurity standards and frameworks
✔ Ability to work independently and drive secure-by-design culture across teams
✔ Fluent English communication skills
✔ Availability to start as soon as possible
✔ Willingness for a long-term engagement (min. 12 months, with extension possible)
