Support the Cybersecurity team by developing internal tools and automations that enhance security operations, improve threat visibility, and reduce manual workload.
Scope of Work:
The intern will:
Assist in the design and development of scripts, dashboards, or lightweight applications to support areas such as alert triage, log analysis, vulnerability tracking, and threat intelligence.
Collaborate with security analysts and engineers to understand use cases and pain points.
Document tool functionality and provide user guides for team adoption.
Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Deliverables:
At least two functioning tools or scripts with clear documentation.
Final presentation summarizing project work, outcomes, and recommendations for future improvements.
Duration:
12 - 16 weeks (part-time or full-time, based on candidate availability)
Skills Required:
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts
Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or scripting languages
Interest in security automation and hands-on problem solving
