The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Senior Data Management Lead to oversee and manage all aspects of data management services provided to USSTRATCOM. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in data governance, analytics and project management. The lead will ensure the integrity, security and accessibility of data while fostering a culture of data-driving decision-making.
The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
Data Management Lead, Senior:
Oversees the entire data management lifecycle within an organization, including defining data governance policies
Ensures data quality, managing data storage systems, leading a team of data professionals, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data accessibility and integrity for informed decision-making, all while prioritizing data security and compliance with relevant regulation
Develops and enforces data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance
Designs and implements data strategies aligned with business objectives, including data integration, migration, and storage solutions
Monitors and improves data quality by identifying and addressing data issues, implementing data cleansing processes, and establishing data quality metrics
Manages data access controls, user permissions, and data security measures to protect sensitive information
Defines data retention policies, managing data archiving, and ensuring proper data deletion processes
Works closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs, gather requirements, and deliver data insights that support decision-making
Evaluates and implements new data management tools and technologies to optimize data processes and efficiency
Generates data reports and dashboards to provide key insights and track data performance metrics
Ensures adherence to data privacy regulations and managing data risks associated with data breaches
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
May supervise others
Qualifications:
Required:
Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in data management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within a military or government context
Required 8140 Cert within 6 months of start date: 421 - Advanced; CASP+ or CCNP Security or CISA or CISSP or CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
AND
Additional Cert: One or more Oracle certifications, to include:
Oracle database
Oracle Cloud HCM
Oracle E-Business Suite
Oracle WebLogic Server
Oracle SOA Suite
Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, database design, and data analytics platforms
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and engage with senior stakeholders
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of leveraging data for strategic decision-making

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
