Within GR&S, the Enterprise Security and Fraud (ES&F) sub-division is responsible for the global protection of Vanguard crew, property, data, and client assets. Cyber Security Operations, Senior Cloud and GenAI Security Specialist:

• Supports secure implementation of GenAI use cases across Vanguard and our cloud environments, ensuring critical cyber and data security controls are implemented.
• Develops and implements automation solutions within the Security Operations Center (SOC) to enhance team efficiency and strengthen defenses against AI-powered cyber attacks.
• Leads the development,  implementation, and delivery of IT security standards and best practices, to conduct formal incident investigations, lead  complex incident handling scenarios including internal and external data breaches, abnormal network and host activity, and assess risk derived from a platform or data-lake.
• Serves as a mentor and subject matter resource for crew members.
• Resolves escalated complex Incident Ticket issues.
• Designs and implements cyber security and operations procedures, tasks and reports. Identifies process gaps and recommends solutions to improve workflow and mitigate risk.
• Serves as a security expert in application development, database design, network, and/or platform (operating system) efforts, helping security project teams comply with enterprise and IT security policies, and industry regulations.
• Provides security related services within enterprise-wide processes where separation of duties is needed to reduce risk. Acts as a key stakeholder for IT governance teams.
• Performs checks for critical security risks to the business. Ensures that security risk related issues are appropriately addressed within the IT environment.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. 

What it takes:

• Undergraduate degree in Technical discipline, Computer Science or related field required. Graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum of seven years experience in a cyber security, cyber investigations, cyber threat intelligence, or combination of these three roles.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)

Salary Range:

$127,000.00 - $243,000.00
