Powered by the best minds in cyber.The Practice Director, Identity Deploy is responsible for providing Practice Management, Leadership, Sales Enablement and providing Project Oversight in the Identity Deploy practice area. The Practice Director, Identity Deploy, leads and directs high-priority initiatives while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
How you'll make an impact
- Provide leadership, guidance and oversight for all team operations. This includes helping Managers and Consultants set and achieve professional goals, recruiting and performing interviews for new hires.
- Profit & Loss responsibility to include budget management.
- Sales enablement activities include assisting in proposal and SoW development, Executive briefings on Practice capabilities and scoping review and approval.
- Track Manager and Consultant performance, utilization, and other Practice metrics to determine Practice health and identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the design, development, and maintenance of the Identity Deploy delivery portfolio and related service offerings.
- Track and monitor current events within the industry.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and lead the development and roll out of new consulting methods and tools.
- Help evolve Optiv’s industry involvement and develop relationships with key partners and organizations.
- Contribute content towards Optiv’s Thought Leadership program and present on Practice related topics (via conferences, webinars, etc.).
- Educate and train Client Managers, Client Directors, and other sales support personnel on practice service offerings.
- Assist in project scoping, change order development, proposal QA and approval.
- Develop and deliver client presentations that highlight Practice methodologies, operations and potential projects.
- Help address client concerns, questions and conflicts surrounding practice area offerings.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist team members in answering procedural and technical questions.
- Act as an escalation point for clients and consultants to manage and resolve questions and conflicts.
- Review consultant workloads and work with the Project Management Office (PMO) to assign consultants to new projects based on project requirements and consulting skill sets.
- Assist with client projects including strategy sessions, report/deliverable QA and project close-out presentations.
- Practice Manager, Technical Manager, Principal Consultant, Senior Consultant, Consultant, Associate Consultant report to the Practice Director, Identity Deploy.
What we're looking for
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) Req
- Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university in a related field of study, and eight or more years of related experience or a combination of education, training and experience required
- 4-7 years of progressive, demonstrated experience with significant responsibility for managing Identity Deploy professional services delivery and personnel Required
- Previous management experience with foundational knowledge of running a P&L.
- Ability to develop and manage an annual budget.
- Pre-sales and proposal support.
- Experience working with information security vulnerability concepts, issues and mitigation methods.
- Technical understanding of IP routing, switching and security fundamentals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with business and functional requirements collection.
- Ability to participate in a group-oriented environment.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks or projects with limited supervision.
- Ability to work under demanding circumstances and accomplish objectives.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot problems and determine resolution.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Ability to clearly communicate via telephone, e-mail and written
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding (understanding that a reasonable person would have) to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional Required or
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Required or
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Required or
- CRISC, OSCP, OSCE Required
