Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Sec Ops Consult Business Lead, you will play a critical role in enhancing the security posture of our clients. Your key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership: Offering guidance to clients on security best practices, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Helps clients develop and implement security measures to protect their assets, data, and operations.
• Security Operations: Providing senior consult services about security operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management and mitigation strategies.  Provide expert guidance approaches and methodologies for IT/OT combined detection and response.  Provide expert approaches and methodologies for SOC and NOC combined detection and response.
• Client Engagement: Acting as a trusted advisor, collaborating with customers to assess security needs, develop tailored solutions, and provide a maturity roadmap for continuous improvement or transformation. 
• Technical Implementation: Designing and deploying security controls, policies, and frameworks, utilizing security technologies like EDR/XDR/MDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, operational technology, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
• Risk Assessment & Compliance: Conducting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and ensuring adherence to industry standards (NIST, RMF, CIS, ISO 27001).
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Staying ahead of cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and new security methodologies to enhance security resilience.

Who You Are

You are a highly skilled cybersecurity professional with a proven track record of leading security initiatives and managing security operations across complex environments. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and thrive in collaborative, customer-centric settings.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, security operations, or related fields.
• Expertise in risk management, security frameworks (NIST, RMF, Common Criteria), and compliance regulations.
• Hands-on experience with security operations, incident response, and advanced cybersecurity tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience working with global Security Operations Centers (SOCs).

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH.
• Experience in EDR/XDR/MDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, attack surface management, security orchestration and automated response, and threat intelligence security domains.
• Experience in threat management, threat hunting and threat modeling.
• Experience in Offensive Security Services strategies such as penetration testing and red Teaming.
• Experience in IT/OT convergence and target operating models and SOC/NOC convergence and target operating models.
• Experience in cloud security, Zero Trust, cyber resilience, and emerging technologies (OT/IIoT/IoT), AI, network security/network detection and response).
• Leadership and project management experience in security consulting or operations.
