Position Overview

Come join the License Compliance team in Mexico - one of the fastest-growing organizations in Autodesk. A key member of the Global License Compliance (GLC) Sales team who protects Autodesk’s Intellectual Property and executes strategies to ensure the revenue generation of Autodesk’s License Compliance business program. Retains & grows customer Annual Order Value (AOV) by profiling and identifying customers out of compliance. Leads customers through the License Compliance engagement process, negotiating non-compliance while retaining and growing Autodesk’s customer base as well as bringing in net new logos.

You will have a combination of remote work and onsite work.

You will report to the Mexico Senior License Compliance Manager
 

Responsibilities

  • Drives, develops, executes, and monitors the business plan for their region (based on the License Compliance strategy) to meet and exceed revenue plan

  • Identify and capture sales opportunities with existing or new customers who are misusing / using non-genuine Autodesk software

  • Profile LC prospects through specialized Autodesk License Compliance analytics tools, telemetry and databases

  • Develop and manage pipeline of license compliance opportunities and activities in SFDC

  • Execute sales motions based on outcome-focused conversations with C-Level and Senior Executives in customer organizations, across industry segments

  • Lead customers through the LC process by presenting compliance data and audit findings to customers; and negotiating mutually agreed settlement and time frames for purchase execution

  • Engage with C-level in customer organizations, to ascertain business needs & risks; and advise on strategic investments required to address these needs whilst resolving the compliance issues to its fullest and providing high value to the customers

  • May work with a third-party auditing firm to complete remote and on-site audits of customers

  • Understand Autodesk terms of use, high level legal compliance framework for relevant territories; exercise high level judgment and ethics, involving legal teams where required, for customer negotiations

  • Collaborate effectively across multiple teams at Autodesk (Territory, Strategic Territory and mid-market sales, Technical Specialists, Customer Success, Channel Management, and Legal) to ensure alignment on License Compliance engagements

  • Collaborates on best practices and drives License Compliance strategies with other geographies; recognize cultural sensitivity and adjust programs to local culture

  • Responsible for forecasting the business within 10% accuracy

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Proven sales track record for exceeding sales quotas is a must

  • Experience and comfort with communicating and negotiating at executive level

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in a software sales role

  • Business English

  • Critical Thinking

  • Skilled in C Level and Board of Directors business agreements and difficult conversations

  • Ability to manage large opportunities through a complete sales cycle

  • High level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products (Excel/Word/PowerPoint, Power BI) and utilizing various CRM tools (i.e., Salesforce.com, Clear, etc.)

  • Analytical skills to interpret the data and present the data in a compelling way to the customers

  • Develop negotiation plans based on sales negotiation methodologies

  • Knowledge of the broader IT systems and infrastructure

  • Preferred Background in License Compliance

  • Fluency in additional languages is a distinct advantage

  • Knowledge of Cyber security trends and threats

  • Travel 0-25% as needed

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $143,000 and $206,910. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
