Network and Infrastructure Delivery Engineer

Role Description:

  • This role will support the delivery of initiatives and remediation efforts related to network, network security, and/or infrastructure for technology team.
  • Will interact with other technology areas in Mexico and the US to ensure the adequate remediation and implementation of network and network security changes and requirements for a number of Mexico applications used for payment systems and market trading services.
  • Will collaborate with application teams, risk & compliance, and engineering in the support of network, cybersecurity, or establishment of data channels.

 

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity or similar teams either in engineering, implementation, or operations roles.
  • Understanding of network security and cybersecurity concepts and technologies including access controls, network access, encryption/certificates, load balancing.
  • Knowledgeable in network protocols including TCP/IP, SSL, HTTPS, TLS, FTP, SFTP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
  • Experience managing or supporting routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, or network infrastructure is a plus.
  • Experience leading or supporting network and/or network security projects with proven ability to analyze, plan, implement and validate complex network environments. 
  • Network certification such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CCSP, or similar is prefered.
  • Network engineering, systems engineering, cybersecurity or similar engineering degree is desirable.
  • Advanced English
