Overview

We are currently seeking an IT Operations Vulnerability Management Desktop Engineer.

Responsibilities

As a valuable East West Bank team member, your duties (not limited to) will include:  

• Manage and maintain image builds for all endpoints (Windows, MAC, VDI) 
• Design and configure solutions to meet our policies and standards to support customer applications on the endpoints including GPO, whitelisting, blacklisting and hardening requirements 
• Investigate the best method to apply security changes to remediate vulnerabilities for applications on desktops, laptops, MAC and VDI systems. 
• Patch and remediate vulnerabilities on endpoint systems through automation and provide detailed reporting on the status regularly. 
• Work independently or collaborate with other departments to provide vulnerability solutions within the organization to remediate identified risks 
• Manage security and operations related projects providing regularly scheduled status updates 
• Maintain security posture through constant security scanning and validations 
• Level 3 Support to the Desktop Support Team 

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years work experience support in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments including Azure AD.  
• Minimum 5 years work experience managing and maintaining system delivery applications such as IGEL, Nerdio, Liquidware and InTune. 
• Minimum 5 years experience building images for endpoints in Windows 10, 11 in virtual environments and MAC OS using Jamf. 
• Minimum 5 years work experience utilizing Patch Management solutions and support for both Microsoft and Apple endpoint products. 
• Minimum 5 years work experience support 3rd party software update packaging such as Adobe, Java and Apache using Microsoft Intune, Ansible, JAMF, or Ivanti Endpoint Manager.  
• Minimum 5 years work experience using scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, PowerShell) 
• 1 year experience with Vulnerability Assessment tools: Nessus, Qualys, Arctic Wolf, Nexpose, Metasploit, Kali Linux 
• Excellent verbal and written communication 
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision to meet objectives 
• Industry experience with financial institutions preferred 
• Jamf Protect and Connect experience a plus 

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $33.00/Hr. - USD $40.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
