In addition, the firm assists clients in major industry sectors with compliance, business process improvement, and strategy consulting.  We are looking for a Consultant/Senior Consultant to join our Forensic Technology team in Thailand.  You will be working on high-profile matters and work closely with the team to provide advisory services to a range of large clients.

A forensic technology and e-discovery Senior Consultant / Consultant focuses on collecting, preserving, and analyzing digital evidence to support legal investigations and litigation. These roles involve using specialized software and hardware to examine electronic devices and data, and often incorporate advanced technologies like AI and machine learning. e-Discovery specifically refers to the process of finding and extracting digital information for legal purposes.Key Responsibilities
  • Working with investigation teams to establish what has happened, uncovering what occurred, when, who was involved, how, and its impact
  • Strategize and execute the acquisition of digital evidence across diverse data sources, encompassing computer/laptop hard drives, USB and external storage devices, mobile devices, networks, server systems, IoT devices, and cloud-based email platforms like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. This includes employing forensically sound methodologies for data collection, preservation, and analysis to ensure the integrity and admissibility of evidence.
  • Perform digital forensic analysis and evaluation of data from various sources using specialized tools and state-of-the-art methodologies
  • Manage and maintain digital forensic lab and equipment, and contribute to training, mentoring and guiding team members on related methodologies, best practices, tools and capabilities
  • Performing hands on elements of eDiscovery matters from start to finish in Intella, including data processing, early case assessment, review & analysis, and production.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Good knowledge of the operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Unix, MacOS)
  • At least 2 years of experience in data analytics, forensic investigations, or related services.
  • Proficiency using intella.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills are required, as this role will involve direct communication with clients. There may be a requirement to work from client sites.
Beneficial Experience
  • Experience in a client-facing role, consulting or working with a Big Four firm is a strong advantage
  • Motivated, with strong task management skills, alongside ability to solve problems and work to deadlines.
  • Digital forensic collection experience would be beneficial.
  • Experience with advising clients under pressure, ability to respond rapidly and accurately, good judgement for escalating issues is a benefit and not essential.
Qualifications
  • Degree or formal certification in forensic IT, digital forensics, IT, information security
  • Computer science, law, or related area is preferred.
