Job Description

Link Solutions is seeking a Systems Analyst (Senior) to join our team in support of the US Army's Combined Arms Center at Fort Leavenworth, KS.

  • Must be a US Citizen  
  • Requires a Secret Clearance 
  • Non-remote (relocation incentive available) 

As a Systems Analyst, you will provide analytical and technical support for the development, modernization, and sustainment of online web services. You will be the key liaison between end users, developers, and stakeholders to translate business and mission needs into actionable technical requirements.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Lead requirements gathering, gap analysis, and functional documentation management.
  • Analyze existing systems and workflows to identify improvement opportunities, modernization strategies, and integration points.
  • Develop functional specifications, use cases, and system interface definitions.
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure delivered solutions meet operational and security requirements.
  • Support system testing, validation, and transition planning activities.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and user acceptance.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and prepare status reports, workflow diagrams, and data flow charts.
  • Assist in ensuring RMF and STIG compliance in software and system specifications.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Seven (7+) years of experience in systems analysis, requirements engineering, or IT project coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT Service Management, or other IT-related fields. 
  • IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security Training, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC) equivalent or higher.
  • Must possess DoD 8140.03 / DoD 8570.1M CE MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure per Microsoft Change or MCSE Server Infrastructure or equivalent/updated training.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Must be proficient in business and technical documentation tools (e.g., Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Excel).

Preferred:  

  • Active Secret Clearance. 
  • IAT Level III Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.).
  • Experience with Army or DoD web services and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. 
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. 
  • Problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
  • Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.

Additional Information

This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations. We anticipate these processes will be completed within the next several weeks, at which time interviews and offers will be extended upon successful contract award.
