Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering and/or related field or equivalent experience, plus 8 years of related experience or Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience. Clearance Requirements:Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
Join our Trusted Operational Applications and Database Services team to develop enterprise applications that integrate with a specialized Linux OS (PitBull), and support customer missions. You will be working in a supportive, award-winning team environment on innovative projects for national security.
It is critical that the person filling this position be able to complete projects independently and be able to effectively communicate while planning and demonstrating work. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, eager to learn, and be able to handle a challenging, high-pressure environment.

- Very strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills
- Strong PHP skills
- Experience designing web sites and web-based applications
- Understanding of relational databases to include database design and creation of database objects
- Experience with JQuery, Bootstrap and other JavaScript libraries
- Comfortable working in a Linux based environment
- Experience working with NetBeans or other Integrated Development Environments (IDEs)
- Familiarity with code versioning software such as GIT, Mercurial, or Subversion and best practices.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet DoD 8570 certification requirements
- Strong understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the software engineering lifecycle of web applications using the LAMP stack from design of new applications to maintenance of legacy applications to integrate with custom Linux OS (PitBull).
- Code web applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP that integrate with relational databases.
- Participate in code reviews
- Create and update documentation for web applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as integration engineer, cyber security, and network engineering to ensure solutions fully meet customer requirements.
- Participate in SAFe Agile processes and ceremonies
What Sets You Apart:
- Experience with PL/SQL
- Experience with implementing or maintaining DevOps pipelines
- Experience with UX/UI web design software (e.g. Axure, Figma)
- Apache and/or MySQL knowledge.
- Familiarity with government IT standards.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance (preferred but not required).
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
