As of 1 January 2025, the internship allowance is EUR 700 and a transport subsidy of EUR 30 per month. An additional housing subsidy of EUR 170 per month will be provided to eligible interns.
Interns are required to be subscribed to a health insurance coverage for the entire duration of the internship. However, they are eligible to request enrolment in the Organization’s health insurance coverage at no additional cost.

- PRIMARY DUTIES
Within Information Systems and Technology Directorate, The Security Operations Center’s mission is to prevent, detect and contain cyber threats to INTERPOL’s Service Operations. Its primary role includes continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, incident response, threat hunting, security analytics and reporting to minimize security risks and maintain a robust security posture for the Organization.
Throughout this internship, the selected applicant will be able to develop his/her personal technical knowledge upon information technology and cyber security skills experiencing a real-world Cyber Security Operation Center activity.
Working under the supervision of the Security Operations Center Manager, the applicant will:
- Conduct cyber security alarm triaging, supported by Security Operations Center analysts and standard procedures.
- Evaluating, classifying and dispatching vulnerability monitoring events to appropriate teams.
- Detect and present improvements opportunities on Security Operation Center standard procedures and updating them once validated by Security Operation Center Manager.
- Anticipate information technology and cyber risks by constant cyber security news and information worldwide.
- Participate on relevant and meaningful meetings within Cybersecurity stakeholders and bringing your point of view, skills and experiences to raise INTERPOL Cybersecurity baseline.

- Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program (MS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or correlated areas.
- Practical information technology infrastructure skills (network and operating system).
- Practical cyber security self-training and laboratories.
- Languages
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge in French, Spanish or Arabic would be an asset
- Specific skills
- Previous experiences working as IT Help Desk, IT Remote Support or Network Operation Center (NOC) are desirable.
- Previous experiences working on a Security Operation Center is highly desirable.
