The role

 

We are now seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager - Cyber Security to help deliver South East Water's Cyber Security project roadmap into the future!

 

The position will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of South East Water’s cyber security projects to approved schedule, budget, scope, quality and which meet business outcomes and security objectives.  Partnering closely with the information and operational technology teams, business stakeholders and vendors to support the execution of the enterprise cyber security initiatives, this role is responsible for the end-to-end project management including, but not limited to, budget and schedule management, managing project stakeholders, vendors, communication, team and risk.  

 

The position resides in the Project Delivery team within the Business Technology Services Branch, and reports to the Project Manager Lead.  The Senior Project Manager will clearly understand the business needs of the project stakeholders and effectively deliver an outcome that maximises South East Water’s investment.

Who are you?

 

In order to be considered for this exciting new role, candidates must possess experience, skills and knowledge of and in the following:
 

  • Extensive experience in a similar role working in a medium to large organisation with a focus on delivering complex cybersecurity projects
  • Experience with project governance, methodology and processes
  • Degree-level qualifications in Information Technology or appropriate related discipline.
  • Programme and Project Management certifications are desirable.
  • Scrum Master certification is desirable.
  • Demonstrated risk management, ensuring mitigation, treatment and communication is achieved while minimising impact to project outcomes
  • Demonstrated stakeholder and vendor engagement and management on complex and large impact projects
  • Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity domains, concepts and terminology and managing project-level risks and dependencies
  • Ability to manage and deliver against project benefits and business case outcomes
  • Extensive senior stakeholder engagement & communication skills
