Splunk Engineer (TS/SCI w/ Polygraph)

Currently, we are seeking a Systems Engineer III (Splunk) to join our Team!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and support existing Splunk and equivalent hardware infrastructure
• Provide onboarding, configuration, and optimization of Splunk instances
• Provide expertise in the deployment, configuration, and operations of Splunk instances
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they occur within Splunk deployments
• Assist with the development of advanced reports and dashboards to meet the requirements of the organization
• Provide support during network inquiries and incident response reporting

 Must Have:

• Security + certification
• Splunk architecture, deployment, and clustering
• Data onboarding (forwarders, heavy forwarders, HEC)
• Search Processing Language (SPL) and dashboard development
• Knowledge of security and infrastructure data sources (SysLog, Windows Event Logs, NetFlows)
• Alerting, reporting, and playbook integration
• Experience with Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) or Enterprise Security (ES) is a plus
• TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH REQUIRED BEFORE CONSIDERATION

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Twenty (20) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is require
