Security Analyst

What you will do

Join Johnson Controls to shape the future of intelligent buildings and smart cities. Support cybersecurity and privacy efforts, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and regulations. Deliver timely cybersecurity market analysis and communications to foster customer relationships and manage supply chain risk. Coordinate across functions to enhance cybersecurity compliance and customer experience. Create diverse content and develop marketing collateral to support product security differentiation.

How you will do it

  • Manage projects and activities that ensure timely response to internal and external customer cybersecurity and privacy requirements.

  • Coordinate across multiple functions (sales channels, product development, product security, and information security) to meet customer and company expectations and timelines.

  • Interface with key stakeholders to improve cybersecurity compliance, drive security as a differentiator, and enhance customer experience.

  • Build and manage a library of standardized security and privacy messaging for customer facing communications.

  • Maintain a Frequently Asked Questions list to assist sales and field interactions with customers.

  • Support product vulnerability disclosure process.

  • Monitor cybersecurity acceptance with key customers and report to senior leadership.

  • Assist in cybersecurity business value assessment of merger/acquisition opportunities.

  • Educate internal stakeholders on customer security and privacy requirements and trends.

  • Monitor product security differentiation efforts to successful completion including the development of supporting marketing collateral and documentation.

  • Coordinate with legal and other regulatory and compliance groups to ensure messaging is compliant with Johnson Controls practices as well as key laws, regulations, and certifications.

  • Define, gather, and monitor meaningful metrics for and tracking and analyzing of customer engagement trends for continuous improvement.

  • Participate in product security committees, boards, councils and working groups.

  • Create written content for web pages, blog posts, email, videos, case studies, social media posts,

  • PowerPoint presentations, white papers, spec sheets, brochures, press releases and more.

What we look for

Required

  • Experience in cybersecurity market analysis, and project/program management.

  • Exceptional technical communication and presentation skills, with a focus on brevity and clarity. Adept at condensing complex technical attributes to clearly convey customer benefits.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze customer cyber issues and requirements (regulatory, policy, customer, industry standards) and link them to organizational capabilities and product features.

  • Effective collaboration with corporate, customer, and government entities.

  • Ability to translate cybersecurity product features into business value for customers.

  • Ability to establish a high level of trust and confidence with customers and stakeholders.

Preferred 

  • University education in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, marketing, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, particularly as applied to smart buildings.

  • Experience with Operational Technologies (e.g., Control Systems, Building Management).

  • Experience in product cybersecurity (hardware/software).

  • Technical project management experience using agile methodologies.

  • Familiarity with security governance, risk, and compliance.

  • Cybersecurity certifications: CISSP, GSEC, Sec+, or similar.

  • Proficiency in Spanish, German, or Portuguese.

If you are relocating to Bratislava to join Johnson Controls, you will be eligible to receive a housing allowance to help you setup your new life in Slovakia.

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 2,000 EUR per month, plus a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
