Our Cyber Security Group is a key pillar upholding Kmart’s reputation as one of Australia’s most beloved brands.  They are charged with ensuring that our customers, suppliers, staff and partners data is collected, managed and maintained with the utmost security. 

 

As the Cyber Security Delivery Manager, you will  be the driving force in ensuring the security and integrity of our digital infrastructure during a period of significant change across our technology group. You'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, taking ownership of the delivery of key Cyber Security initiatives.
 

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive project/program delivery strategy aligned with Kmart’s Cyber Security objectives.

  • Driving the execution of end-to-end delivery of cyber security programs and initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.

  • Managing Kmart’s relationships with cyber security vendors and suppliers.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into various facets of IT operations.

  • Engaging with key leaders throughout the business to drive cybersecurity thinking and enhance the overall cybersecurity posture.

  • Identifying and mitigating potential cyber threats, conducting risk assessments, and implementing preventive measures.

  • Leading the response to cyber incidents, coordinating with internal teams and external partners for effective resolution.

  • Ensuring adherence to industry standards, legal regulations, and compliance requirements related to cyber security.

 

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Strong knowledge of Program and Delivery management best practices, and the ability to lead complex, high-stakes projects independently.

  • Highly experienced in yearly budget planning, business case preparation, vendor management with deep commercial acumen.

  • Experience in managing big project portfolios, with more than 20 concurrent initiatives with multiple interdependent projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and business owners.

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with agile (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and waterfall (PMP/PRINCE2) project management methodologies.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, guide, and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams.

  • Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and innovation and scaling efficient delivery practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Understanding of cyber security principles and knowledge/experience of delivering cybersecurity projects or initiatives is advantageous

  • Candidates with relevant cyber security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) or formal degree are encouraged to apply.
