Application Developer

General Description

Developer to manage initiatives and deliver services that identify, design, and implement creative solutions using, but not limited to, Robot Process Automation (RPA), Power Platforms tools, JIRA, API, O365.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, and flow mapping), prototyping, developing, and testing
• Develop new processes/tasks/objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand
• Analyze and design the integration with other systems
• Complies with and helps to enforce the established RPA governance, design and coding standards, policies, and procedures (specifically those related to audit and security)
• Use Agile methodologies to deliver fast results using team collaboration
• Reports status, issues, and risks to supervisor regularly
• Improves skills in automation products by completing automation certification
• Work with multi diverse teams to ensure business continuity (Cyber, InfoSec, Enterprise Architecture, Fraud, Incident & Change Management, among others).
• Deliver technical demos or provide technical advice as requested.
• Deliver trainings to potential new developers
• Develop proof of concepts with emerging technologieTo be considered, you will need:
• Advanced skills in creating workflow configurations to map process designs
• Advanced skills in analyzing, designing, developing, debugging, implementing, and maintaining application code in a variety of contexts
• At least five years of experience in application development, application testing, and component design
• Ability to understand and write documents such as process design, technical design, and test scripts, among other general programming documents
• Good understanding of various automation components and features available in Robotics Products
• Experience in Scrum, Lean, or other Agile methodologies and general software development lifecycle
• Strong oral and written communication skills (English and Spanish)
• Ability to learn new skill sets and adapt to work in different roles of the team, based on the needs (cross-functional), for example, gathering requirements and conducting trainings rather than developing
• Relevant RPA consulting or industry experience
• Experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), preferably with one of the market-leading RPA platforms: Automation Anywhere, BluePrism, and/or UIPath
• Front-end experience such as HTML, JavaScript, PHP, VBS, VBA, Python, and SQL among others

Academic Background and Experience:

• Information Systems, Computer or Industrial Engineering bachelor’s or master’s Degree
• Minimum of fire (5) years of experience in software development, application development or development life cycle or related duties.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project coordinating with technology, application administration and or related duties.
