Senior ATM Security Officer

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced ATM security specialist to join our team. The person in this position will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and managing the security of Euronet Worldwide's ATM network, as well as implementing and maintaining the latest security technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and analyzing threats related to the physical and logical security of ATMs.
• Creating and updating policies and procedures (including documentation) related to operational, physical, and logical security in countries where Euronet develops ATM networks.
• Managing security policies for the local office in Poland.
• Managing security policies according to PCI DSS and ISO 27001 standards.
• Implementing and maintaining security systems.
• Enhancing the security of the operational environment for Windows 7, 10, 11.
• Monitoring the logical and physical security of ATMs (managing security consoles like Symantec Critical System Protection – tests, modifications of IPS and ID policies).
• Managing DLP/IPS/IDS/HIPS McAfee systems.
• Conducting security audits, penetration tests, and participating in internal and external audits.
• Close cooperation with financial institutions and law enforcement agencies.
• Managing business continuity plans for crisis situations.
• Collaborating with IT teams and external suppliers to ensure the highest level of security.
• Training staff on best security practices.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Higher education in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of ATM security technologies and payment systems.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems (7/10/11) and IPS/IDS software from McAfee and Symantec.
• Understanding basic IT security concepts: databases, computer networks, applications, and security standards: PCI/ISO27001.
• Knowledge of basic encryption and data transmission concepts.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN computer network concepts.
• Experience in conducting security audits and penetration tests.
• Experience in creating and updating documentation.
• Experience in banking and/or information security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) will be an additional advantage.
• Fluency in English and Polish.
• Ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills.
