Job Summary:
The IAM Sr. Project Engineer will serve as the Technical Lead primarily on the SailPoint identity platform to support the identity management needs for employees and non-employees. They will be responsible for requirement gathering, assessing, and implementing both out-of-the-box and customized solutions on SailPoint IdentityNow platform for the organization’s IAM needs. The IAM Sr. Project Engineer will be designing and supervising access certification campaigns to stay in compliance with SOX audit controls. Work will also include support and maintenance of processes and co-ordinating with multiple project teams and external vendors.
- Developing and implementing Cooper’s IAM strategy
- Participate in requirement gathering, process definition and use cases
- Experience in integration with various systems, applications, and data sources.
- Lead development activities in SailPoint such as connector configuration, custom rule development, workflow configurations and development.
- Provide SailPoint related troubleshooting services on VA logs as part of project or post-production support.
- Handle BAU (Business as usual) activities such as manage changes to application owners, approvers, workgroups, roles, separation of duties (SoDs) or workflows, Status Reports, Audit Requirements
- Participate in testing for multiple environments (SIT, QA, UAT, Regression, Production)
and bug related efforts
- Develop strategy and supervise access reviews, internal & external audit reviews and ensure processes and procedures are compliant.
- Ability to work independently and lead strategic initiatives around identity and access management.
Travel Requirements:
International travel up to 5%
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or SailPoint IdentityNow/Identity Security Cloud
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management governance including role-based access control (RBAC), access request and certification
- Experience with leading, designing, implementing and administering enterprise automated provisioning/de-provisioning systems
- Familiarity with Agile project management activities such as Sprints, Stories, Scrum ceremonies
- Development of custom code in Java, Bean Shell, JSON, etc. and configurations to support requirements
- Familiarity with IdentityNow REST Services, Active Directory environment, SSO and LDAP
- Experience in implementing customized solutions for application onboarding through built-in connectors or web-service, flat files and JDBC connectors, LCM workflows, rules and reports
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks to manage projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborating with tech leads to ensure integrated end-to-end design and delivery
- Detailed-oriented, independent, and thorough in examination and analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Work Environment:
- Normal office environment.
- Sedentary to light physical effort necessary to perform the job
- Extensive contact with employees in the US and global locations, and with external vendors
Experience:
- 8+ years IT experience
- Hands-on experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint Security Cloud, NERM
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle, change management and release management practices.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline preferred, or 7 or more years of relevant experience is required.
- CISA, CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification, or willingness to get certified preferred

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $94,906.00 and $126,541.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
