Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for an Information Security Intern for the summer of 2025 to support the Security Assurance team to help on a variety of projects that will range in scale and complexity. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be highly adaptive and flexible in a rapidly changing landscape and possess an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment with resource and time constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Security Assurance Team in executing on projects and documented procedures to provide services to our internal business and IT partners.
  • Provide teamwork by supporting the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Adhere to deadlines as determined by more senior resources.
  • Operate within CHS IT standards to execute service delivery. 
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Provide feedback to teams to continuously improve our processes and delivery timelines.
  • Communicate complex matters clearly and succinctly, articulate issues, communicate status, and drive to find solutions.
  • Maintain and promote a strong security culture.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree from an accredited institution
  • Advanced knowledge and expertise in MS Office tools

Additional Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management, or related field (if undergrad, entering junior or senior year) 
  • Relevant experience supporting and delivering infrastructure or client technology capabilities (e.g. Helpdesk) 
  • Experience with access reviews, risk assessments, audit, or other technical assessments  
  • Exposure or understanding of automation (ex:  PowerBi or Power Automate)
  • Strong aptitude and desire to learn 
  • Strong collaborative and relationship building skills with technical stakeholders  

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
