About the Role:


As an IT Security Manager at Wolters Kluwer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and operating a global customer trust and assurance function. This position is dedicated to building customer trust throughout the sales and aftersales lifecycle by showcasing Wolters Kluwer’s security, compliance, and privacy posture. You will work closely with both customers and internal stakeholders to address security needs and drive alignment with industry best practices, contractual commitments and applicable laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide various internal teams to address customers' security, compliance, and privacy needs. This includes leading the handling of questionnaires, audits, and calls with customers and prospects to ensure their concerns are addressed comprehensively and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to create and grow a robust program dedicated to addressing and anticipating customer security, compliance, and privacy requirements. Continuously assess and improve the program to meet evolving customer needs and regulatory standards.
  • Attain subject matter expert (SME)-level knowledge of the features and functionalities of Wolters Kluwer products and infrastructure. Lead the education and training of the sales organization on Wolters Kluwer’s security, compliance, and privacy posture, ensuring they are well-equipped to communicate these aspects to customers, mentor and guide junior team members in developing their expertise.
  • Develop, manage, and oversee a variety of security, compliance, and privacy assets, including websites, white papers, FAQs, and other documentation. Ensure these resources are up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible to both internal teams and customers.
  • Lead the review of security clauses in contracts and provide expert advice on Wolters Kluwer’s security, compliance, and privacy measures. Ensure that contracts accurately reflect the company's security posture and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Take a leadership role in supporting customer compliance audits by providing necessary documentation, evidence, answering auditor questions, and ensuring that all security, compliance, and privacy measures are thoroughly documented and adhered to. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure audit readiness.


Job Qualification:

  • A bachelor’s degree in information security, information systems management, computer science, or equivalent experience in compliance and information security policy.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or Information Technology is required.
  • Language requirements: Fluent in English. French and Italian are plus.
  • Knowledge of the privacy and security regulatory landscape and adjacent risk areas including risk assessment methodologies and internal control frameworks (e.g. NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, ISO 27001, DORA, GDPR, etc.)
  • Experience with tools, technology and best practice in network security, data protection and identity and access management.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams, senior management, regulators, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, and ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a team of compliance professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex security and compliance concepts to diverse audiences
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business.
  • Project and Program Management skills and ability to plan and execute project plans.
