Job Title:
Network & Cryptography Lead
Experience:
8–10 years
Key Skills:
• Deep understanding of wireless protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LTE)
• Expertise in network packet analysis using Wireshark and Scapy
• Advanced penetration testing with TLS/SSL tools (TLS-Attacker, testssl.sh, OpenSSL)
• Proficient in using BLE/Wi-Fi fuzzers (Ubertooth, CrackLE, InternalBlue)
• Strong experience in entropy and randomness testing using dieharder, NIST STS, and rngtest
• In-depth knowledge of cryptographic standards (RSA, ECC, AES, SHA)
• Proven ability to simulate MITM, replay, downgrade, and DoS attacks
• Familiarity with EN 18031 and FIPS 140-3 compliance requirements
• Skilled in developing custom fuzzing scripts and test cases
• Excellent vulnerability mapping and risk assessment capabilities
• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills
• Leadership in mentoring junior engineers in network security testing
• Experience in designing attack scenarios and test strategies
• Ability to integrate VAPT findings with regulatory (RED) compliance frameworks
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end VAPT activities on wireless communication stacks for RED-compliant devices
• Develop and execute penetration testing strategies for BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and LTE protocols
• Design, implement, and supervise advanced fuzzing and protocol testing scenarios
• Perform deep analysis of TLS/SSL configurations and cryptographic implementations
• Conduct entropy and randomness tests to evaluate cryptographic module strength
• Simulate realistic attack scenarios including MITM, replay, rogue access, and downgrade attacks
• Validate key management practices and certificate integrity
• Map discovered vulnerabilities to RED 18031 compliance clauses
• Document test cases, methodologies, and remediation recommendations in detail
• Mentor and guide junior team members in advanced network security techniques
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure testing aligns with regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain a library of test scripts and case studies
• Monitor emerging wireless security threats and update testing methodologies accordingly
• Provide regular progress updates and comprehensive reports to stakeholders
• Ensure all testing activities are conducted in a secure, controlled lab environment
Qualifications & Certifications:
• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Electronics, or Cybersecurity
• Preferred: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), OSCP, or equivalent
• Advantage: IoT Security Certification, ISO/IEC 27001,IEC62443 or EN 18031 exposure
