Your day to day:

As a Cyber Security team leader, you will be in charge of managing a team whose responsibilities include conducting incident response activities for DDOS attack mitigation along with onboarding of assets and consulting best strategies to customers for threat mitigation.
You will collaborate with global teams including senior management and market stakeholders and be involved in strategizing the service delivered to customers along with adding technical value to the service which aligns with goals and objectives of the organization.
You will be responsible for delivering a high quality of service to Vodafone and its customers by strategizing the service in a way which will help the organization increase its value and reputation on the security services area.
 

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:


•    Understanding latest cyber attacks and mentoring a technical team and equip them with the knowledge needed to deliver a high quality of threat mitigation service.
•    Manage and monitor the team activities and make sure the service is delivered with agreed SLA.
•    Preparing technical and process documentation for the service including playbooks for cyber security incident response.
•    Liaising with customers and customer account/service account managers to take frequent feedback on the service quality and find out way to cover gaps if any.
•    Mentor and train technical team member on process and technical topics that help them deliver a high quality of service.
•    Track and govern new customer onboardings including new changes.
•    Reporting support as requested by the service line and enterprise customers.

•    Create and maintain rota for covering the 24*7 shifts.
•    On call support when needed including weekends
•    Drive training and learning activities within team.
•    Drive efficiency initiatives within the team which supports goals of the service.
•    Be part of problem and incident management discussion for any escalations.
•    Audit day to day incident response and change activities.
•    Support customer audits and reporting initiatives linked to the service.
•    Support vendor management and platform management activities when needed.
•    Finding potential for automation tasks in daily work
•    Creating and maintaining local work instructions and technical documentation for the teams.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

•    University degree
•    Excellent level of English language
•    Cyber security team management.
•    Cyber security incident response and threat mitigation.
•    Ability to understand and configure filters and countermeasures for mitigating volumetric and application-based attacks.
•    Knowledge of various Cyber security frameworks and their implementation.
•    Minimum 5 plus years of experience in cyber security incident response and threat mitigation. DDoS attack mitigation knowledge would be an added advantage.
