Senior Network and Security Engineer

As a Senior Network and Security Engineer (Level 3/ SME), you will be part of the Managed Network and Security Team, dedicated to improve our customers environments through automation and optimisation. Great customer experience success is measured by our customer systems compliance and availability.

You will:-

• Provide third level technical expertise and operational support for the network and security service requests and issues

• Be the final escalation point for such technical knowledge and expertise.

• Lead workshops that identify trends and problems within customer environments

• Develop new solutions that improve our customer environments

• Develop permanent corrective fixes and deploy following appropriate change processes

• Document solutions and knowledge in Logicalis knowledge management system

• Mentors junior engineers to help develop their skills

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience in LAN /WAN networks and optimisation including managing wireless devices, VOICE and network security.

• A cherry topping, if you have Aruba, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet security and SDWan experience.

• An analytical and systematic approach to issue resolution, coupled with excellent relationship management skills will see you excel

• Strong passion and desire to develop and share knowledge
